Welcome to Colorado S.T.I.N.G.
Mission Statement
STING is a state wide organization whose mission is to disseminate intelligence and
monitor the activity of street gangs while they are on our streets, in our jails and in our
prisons.
The nature of the criminal activity conducted by these groups is increasingly becoming more visible. STING was formed to meet the growing need for more pro-active law enforcement activity.
Committed and Dedicated to the CAUSE
COLORADO STING continues to provide yearly training conferences held at different locations each year in Colorado. COLORADO STING has provided financial support to the families of Law Enforce officers who have been killed or injured in the line of duty and has supplemented Crime Stopper Rewards.
A Force to Be Heard
COLORADO STING has now become a powerful weapon in the fight against illegal gangs operating in our communities, detention facilities, prisons and schools.
STING Annual Prestigious Award
COLORADO STING recognizes each year one individual who has significantly contributed to gang suppression in some manner. The recipients of this prestigious award, also, pay tribute to their own organization that supports their efforts.
